13 Feminist Quotes for Your Vision Board
Years ago, I had a quick conversation with Bradley Cooper's mom about his dog. Of course, I pet the dog and gave Bradley a smile but, let's be real, this exchange was ALL about the dog he found while jogging in LA. If you're looking for Bradley Cooper, it's safe to say hanging out as a cute dog may just get you a ticket to his home (and probably a chance at snuggles).
How did this happen? Well, I put him on my vision board. Don't check out just yet! It was a larger exercise and I truly met him because of a career goal, but it was a great way for the vision board to show up for me.
The one year I didn't do a vision board in my post-grad life was 2016... and I don't think I need to tell you how that turned out (sorry, y'all!). This year, I have a real vision board -- made with MOD PODGE! -- and it reminds me daily that I am totally open to something coming my way, that I am a woman who owns her power and that I DO NOT GIVE UP. And it worked. I put Gurney's Montauk on the board for a summer retreat and then got a deal in my email and decided to #treatyoself to a winter escape. More on that on Instagram soon!
My Vision Board IS mostly made up of words because I believe words are powerful and intentional. Images might be more of your thing so I combined the two here on my favorite sketch of NYC. I think these are some of the best around and some of the ones I personally use.
