The Birth of Vix: How I Became a Fempreneur
The word that turned my dreams into reality. Hello there, I'm Victoria but we're going to be great friends so you can call me Vix. My friends call me Vix because I have the fix for every digital need. Yes, every digital need and quite a few off-line hacks too!
Why do you want to keep reading?
Because I'm just a millennial fempreneur, growing her business, looking for love and navigating the complex world of dog-momming on the UWS side of Manhattan.
Basically, I'm just like you. I'm single, almost 2 years into my business, 6 months into being a dog mom to Fiona the Frenchie, and 10 years into the digital branding game.
I'm excited, scared, exhilarated, tired and inspired. I'm tired of dating the fuckboys and am looking for someone to finally pick me, choose me, love me. I like to bake and I can caulk a tub with my eyes closed. I am a modern single woman, writing about all the aspects of my life that make me, me!
Millennial women often get a bad rap -- we're whiny, we're disenchanted, we're hard. And, these days, we're downright NASTY. I wear Nasty as a badge of honor and, through our time together, I'll show you why you too will wear it with pride.
I've spent a lot of time separating my brand -- personal, business, no love-life talk, some love-life talk, no cooking talk, lots of fitness talk -- and I recently realized that you have to embrace all of yourself to keep the balls in the air. The good, bad and hard edges.
Here's to the nights that make us wish the clock could stop and the days where we wish we could pack more hours in with a click of a mouse. To the friends who become family and the life struggles sorted over iMessage and GChat. To the memories that will last a lifetime.
Join me (and Fiona!) as we share our NYC life with you. It's fabulous, it's real and it's the next best thing you won't ever be able to put down.
