Looking Fly in my Felix Grays: A Must-Have for Millennials
First, let’s talk about blue light and computer glare. It is a real thing. I work on my computer for at least 10 hours a day. And that does not count the time I’m on my iPhone and iPad. It’s A LOT of screentime.
We don’t think about it until we wake up one morning with a massive headache that we can’t shake… but why should we let it get there?
Enter, Felix Gray. One night, while scrolling on my couch, I came across their well-designed Facebook ad and decided to check it out. Right then and there, I purchased a pair that looked like my Warby Parkers and waited for them to be delivered.
I received them on Wednesday and have been wearing them for all screen time every since. I wear contacts so these go right over my contacts and also include a bit of magnification (an option you can select when purchasing) which I am still getting used to.
I do have a slight headache, but I think that’s more getting used to when to wear and when not to wear them. I find that they’ve allowed me to keep the screen at a brighter setting AND allow me to feel more focused.
If you’re someone who uses the computer all day for work or play (read: a millennial), these are definitely something for you to try.
One thing I’ve noticed? I’ve stopped squinting at the computer and that is proven to reduce wrinkles. The Felix Gray $95 beats out the Botox and Filler prices in my book!
