Need a Go-to Business Look? Try the Jumpsuit!
Pantsuits had their DAY in 2016, but I'd like to introduce a new favorite for 2017 - the Jumpsuit.
I've been wearing Jumpsuits since I wrote about the 5 best Jumpsuits for holiday parties at Bethenny in 2013. They're chic, fun and easy to wear. I prefer all black because #allblackeverything, always, but they come in a rainbow of colors.
Here are my three favorite designers for chic Jumpsuits that #werk for work and play:
Ann Taylor LOFT has been my go-to for athleisure, business and casual picks since I worked there in college. Customer service experience is incredibly valuable and a discount on clothes you enjoy doesn't hurt either!
I'd say 50% of the clothes in my closet are from Rachel Roy for Macy's. I spend money on three things in my wardrobe: shoes, jumpsuits and great Lululemon yoga pants. The rest of it? To me, is disposable after a certain amount of washes! I like getting clothes that work at an affordable rate. But of course, I'm also the girl who will spend $130 on lycra so... we all have our budgets, ya know!? Rachel Roy for Macy's is also really great for coats which, as a good friend of mine said, are basically our cars in NYC so it's worth the splurge.
The first jumpsuit I bought was from Michael Kors and I still love it -- I wore it to ring in 2014 and 2016 (with a separate, LOFT Jumpsuit for 2015 and a Rachel Roy one for 2016... can you see a theme?) -- it has Gaga-like studs on the shoulders and is slinky, making bathroom trips a breeze.
Will you add Jumpsuits to your wardrobe this year? Tell me in the comments!
